Flabbergasted George and Alice Gipthrong had ordered a Playstation 2 from Compuflog and had been expecting their games console to arrive to arrive that day.
“ I couldn’t believe it when I figured out what had happened.” said George today.
“It was about twenty minutes before I realised I shouldn’t be trying to plug them into the mains.”
The Gipthrongs, barely had time to hand the children over to social services before becoming embroiled in a bizarre tug-of-fun with the expectant parents who received their Playstation instead of the child they had been waiting for.
Sasha and Fig Trumpcake from California are now refusing to hand back the console saying:
“We think it is now in the best interest of the Playstation to remain with us. Who knows what kind of damage packing it up and shipping it to another country might do?”
The Trumpcake's have now officially filed for custody of the console with a court hearing set for later in the year.
Meanwhile, With the Playstation 2 custody battle set to rumble on through the courts for months, TV’s Jerry Springer has announced that he will screen a live show to help the forgotten victims of the whole tragedy, the children.“I find it absolutely disgusting that children can be bought on the internet.” said Jerry today. “They should be on the Tele where everyone can get a good look at them. That’s why we’ll be auctioning unwanted babies live on air in our fantastic new game “Who Want’s To Be a Mom And Dad?”. All the contestants have to do is match the child to the birth parent most likely to trade them in for a hit of crack and they win not only the child but a fabulous trip to Barbados! It feels great to be doing my bit.”
